  Llanfairfechan  A man became disorientated  and lost for three hours after being enveloped by dense fog  while fishing on the Lavan Sands in the Menai Straits and  waist  deep in water with an incoming tide.
 He reported he was lost by   using his mobile  phone at about 9.30 pm and  was located
 by the Lifeboat at 10.30 pm.
 Visibility 5 Yards. and less at  times.		  After an extensive search by  the Lifeboat the casualty was located and able to be airlifted by RAF Search and Rescue Helicopter  to hospital.
A case of good co-ordination between Helicopter and Lifeboat.
 It is worth mentioning that this service was attended by approx.
25  people, including Coastguards, Fire Crew as well as Lifeboat and Helicopter crews.
          ( A very lucky man )

 		 Penmon Coastguard Observed Jet Ski in difficulty
 with Father and 4 Children
aged 9 to 12
2 Children had NO Lifejackets.
 

 Lifeboat located these persons after they had managed to land on Puffin Island. Lifeboat man called for Helicopter assistance and the  Children were airlifted to Hospital with Hypothermia.
 Father took Jet Ski back to
 Conwy and then returned to Bangor Hospital by car.
