 Dinghy returned to owner.

 Nearby fisheries protection vessel
 saved man from water.
 Fisherman and dinghy taken to
 Penmaenmawr by Lifeboat.

 Lifeboat crew beached the 
 vessel and found the bung was
 loose.

 This was remedied and
 towed the vessel to Beaumaris.

 escorted to Penrhyn Dock  by 
  the Lifeboat.

 rope and secured the vessel

 The second dinghy launched to

 Fort Belan.

 found on Britannia Bridge.
 After an extensive search
 nothing was found and the

 taking in water.
 When the Lifeboat arrived on 
 scene they found another boat
 nearby was assisting the casualty

 a 999 call to say a person was
 in the water clinging  to a
 dinghy.     8.45 pm.
  Person had been rowing an 
 inflatable dinghy to his yacht
 when it de-flated.

 Lifeboat recalled when it 
 reached Menai Bridge as the 
 casualty had been helped 
 ashore by a person nearby.

 Moelfre Lifeboat had taken a 
 yacht in tow with a fouled
 propeller. Beaumaris Lifeboat   
 took over the tow at the 
 Northern entrance of Puffin
 Island. 
 Beaumaris Lifeboat towed the
 Yacht to a mooring in Beaumaris
 A diver freed the rope from the
 propeller and the Yacht 
 continued their journey the 
 next day.

 assistance.
 Shortly after launching
 Holyhead Coastguard re-called 
 the Lifeboat as the fishing vessel
 had managed to restart their

 Yacht with 5 people on board
 requesting assistance as 4  
 people on board suffering with
 severe  sea sickness and
 hypothermia. Beaumaris Lifeboat also requested assistance fromMoelfre Lifeboat.
 Beaumaris Lifeboat evacuated
 4 persons from the Yacht and 
 brought them back to Lifeboat
 Station. 2 Persons treated at 
 Station and 2 taken to hospital
 in a waiting ambulance.

 Yacht as above.
 Holyhead Coastguard asked
 Beaumaris Lifeboat to take over 
 the tow from Moelfre Lifeboat
 in the Straits.
 Yacht towed to safe mooring
 in Beaumaris Bay.
 The one crew left on the Yacht 
 and the crews gear were taken
 ashore in Beaumaris.
 The Coastguard then took three  
 persons to Conwy to pick up 
 their car. The two casualties
 in hospital were expected to be
 discharged later.

 required to a person 
 threatening to jump from the
 chains on Menai Suspension
 Bridge.
 After about 30 minutes person
 came down a Firemans ladder
 where he was apprehended
 by the Police.

 missing since 4:30 pm the
 previous day.
 After an extensive search by
 Lifeboat, Coastguards and
 Helicopter the Lifeboat and

 leaving Coastguards to search
 the shores.

 Penmon Mobile Coastguards 
 sighted an object in the water
 and tasked Beaumaris Lifeboat
 who confirmed it was the 
 person they had been 
 searching for.
 Because of the swell and the
 close proximity of the rocks the
 Lifeboat couldn't gain access.  
 The help of the Helicopter
 was requested and they were
 able to retrieve the body and
  went straight to the
 Hospital in Bangor.

  One  of 4 canoeists managed to
 reach Penmon Beach and call
 for assistance via his mobile
 phone. 3 other canoeists were
 unable to leave Puffin Island
 where they had landed in
 adverse weather conditions.
 Beaumaris Lifeboat arrived on
 scene and evacuated the 
 canoeists and their canoes 
 individually to Penmon Beach
 where they were then assisted
 by Bangor Coastguards.

 Holyhead Coastguard requested
 assistance to a 38' Yacht with
 3 people on board with engine
 failure and a dragging anchor.
 Beaumaris Lifeboat put two
 crew members aboard to assist.
 Shortly after this vessel was able
 to restart his engine and the 
 Lifeboat escorted them to a 
 safe mooring in Beaumaris.
 The yachts crew were taken off
 to await a better weather
 forecast.

 Holyhead Coastguard requested 
 assistance to a small fishing
 boat with engine failure and 
 reported to be drifting.
 When the Lifeboat arrived the 
 fishing boats crew had managed
 to fix the problem and did not
 require further assistance.

 Puffin Island
  Wind S/W 3

  The RSPCA requested Lifeboat
 assistance to a seal reported  to
 be trapped in a fishing net. 
 An Inspector was taken aboard  
 the Lifeboat and the seal was
 located at the North end of 
 Puffin Island.
 Another Inspector with a firearm
 was picked up from the beach at 
 Penmon as it was feared that the 
 seal would need to be put down  
 but with the help of the Lifeboat   crew the Inspector was able to 
 cut free the net from the seals 
 mouth and neck.
 Although the seal had deep cuts
 it was released.

     Menai Bridge   Lifeboat launch requested after
 telephone call received from
 person threatening to jump
 from Menai Suspension Bridge.
 After an extensive search by 
 Police, Coastguards and 
 Lifeboat the search was called
 off believing it to be a hoax 
 after receiving yet another
 call from Menai Bridge Square
 in the Town.

 Gallows Point

 38' Yacht with electrical
 problems. Yacht had anchor
 down but flooding tide was
 causing him to drag anchor.
 Electrical problem partly fixed
 enabling the engine to be 
 started.The Lifeboat escorted the 
 yacht to a berth at Menai Bridge
 Pier where repairs had 
 been arranged.

 to help Ambulance personnel to
 recover a body from rocks in
 the Menai Straits.
   

 The Lifeboat crew assisted the
 Police and Ambulance crew
 and then returned to station.

Britannia Bridge

 Holyhead Coastguard requested 
 launch to assist Police after 
 several motorists had reported
 a man on the parapet of the
 Britannia Bridge..
 The Lifeboat started a search
 downstream of the bridge but
 shortly afterwards the Police
 apprehended a man. 
 He was taken into custody as he 
 was drunk.
