Beaumaris Lifeboat Crew
Beaumaris
lifeboat crew are a group of dedicated volunteers who live in Beaumaris and nearby villages. From all walks of
life, these young people dedicate much of their spare time to the
lifeboat.
With two training sessions a week, the routine is demanding, but
the camaraderie that exists between the crew members goes a long
way to make the experience rewarding.
In addition to training at the station, the crew attend dedicated courses at the RNLI Lifeboat College, where they learn the theory and practice required to ensure safety and rescue expertise when out on a service. Each crew member carries a pager to alert them to a lifeboat launch in response to a call from the Coastguard.
