30th. December | 3:36 pm | SW 1 | South of Puffin Island
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to a 24ft. Motor Cruiser one mile south of Puffin Island with engine failure. Lifeboat crewmember put aboard and the problem was soon rectified.
This craft then returned to Conwy escorted by another cruiser from the same port.

76	26th. December \| 1:15 pm \| SW 6 \| Beaumaris Bay Sailing dinghy capsized with 2 adults aboard - Club rescue launch was unable to recover the dinghy and persons - lifeboat launched to assist - dinghy recovered to Gallows Point by lifeboat.
75	12th. December \| 8:31am \| SSW/4 \| Menai Bridge A Fisherman had walked out to a rock under the Menai Suspension Bridge at very low tide with his dog. He had been fishing and not noticed the rising tide until he and the dog were trapped. They were picked up and taken ashore by Beaumaris lifeboat.
74	8th. December \| 11:03am \| South 8 to 9 \| Puffin Island Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a report from a person who lives above Llanfairfechan of an object in the water. The Lifeboat conducted a search up to a mile and a half north of Puffin Island and questioned the crew of one small fishing boat but didn't find the object. The Lifeboat then returned to station
73	29th.November \| 6:00am \| S/W 2 \| Menai Bridge A Police request via Holyhead Coastguard for the lifeboat to standby a possible jumper from Britannia Bridge. Police apprehended the casualty whilst the boat was en route. The lifeboat then returned to station.
72	25th. November \| 11:27 am \| S/W 2 \| Off the Gazelle Hotel Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to a yacht reported to have engine failure and taking in water. When the Lifeboat arrived on scene the crew of the casualty reported that they were NOT taking in water and would fix the engine themselves. All assistance was refused. The Lifeboat returned to station. It was later reported that the casualty vessel had been taken in tow by a fishing boat to Dickies boat yard.
71	29th. October \| 5:35 pm \| S/W 3 \| Between Port Dinorwic & Caernarfon Holyhead Coastguard requested assistance to the police in recovering a body from a location on the Straits with no vehicle access. The body was taken by lifeboat to Menai Bridge pier and handed over to the undertaker.
70	29th. October \| 3:35 pm \| S/W 2 \| Beaumaris Bay A 15ft motor boat with 2 adults and 2 children on board ran out of fuel in the vicinity of B5 buoy. A 999 call was made to Holyhead Coastguard who requested assistance from Beaumaris lifeboat. Lifeboat towed craft to Gallows Point where fuel was purchased and craft continued on its way.
69	29th. October \| 00:09 am \| W 3 \| Caernarfon Police received a report of 2 persons entering the water at Caernarfon near the swing bridge and not seen to leave the water. Holyhead Coastguard requested lifeboat to conduct a search of the area. Following further enquiries by Police and Coastguards on scene it was established that the persons had left the water and the boat was released at 00:45 am.
68	28th October \| 00:52 am \| S/W 7 gusting 10 at times \| Menai Bridge Holyhead Coastguard responded to a request from the Police to initiate a shoreline search for a missing person. A car had been found abandoned with a text message indicating an intention for self-harm. Given the vicinity of the car to the Straits the lifeboat was requested to undertake a shoreline search in the vicinity of the abandoned car. The Search and Rescue helicopter from RAF Valley was later tasked to assist. The search was called off by the Police at 03:10 until daylight .
67	27th. October \| 7:14 pm \| S/W 7 \| Caernarfon. Holyhead Coastguard received a report of a group of children (number unknown) stuck on a sandbank opposite Caernarfon calling for help. Despite extensive search by both the lifeboat, Plas Menai rib and Search and Rescue helicopter from RAF Valley nothing found. Lifeboat released by Coastguard at 9.30pm and returned to station.
66	23rd October \| 1:44 pm \| W 1 \| Menai Bridge Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to investigate a possible person in the water near the Menai Suspension Bridge. The Lifeboat quickly located and recovered a body and took it ashore where the Police were waiting to take over.
65	20th. October \| 5:51 pm \| W 2 \| Menai Bridge Person reported missing and car found near Menai Suspension Bridge. Text received asking for help "on the bridge". Holyhead Coastguard requested search of area between bridges but soon after launch casualty walked into casualty department of Ysbyty Gwynedd with a suspected heart attack. The lifeboat was then recalled.
64	7th. October \| 1:33 pm \| N/E 2 to 3 \| East of Puffin Island 21' Fishing boat broken down to the east of Puffin Island. A passing vessel offered assistance, which was refused. The Vessel reported the casualty to Holyhead Coastguard as they were concerned that there were young children on board and there was little evidence of lifejackets being worn. Holyhead Coastguard requested the lifeboat launch to stand by in case assistance was required. When the lifeboat arrived the crew of the casualty had identified the problem as a failed starter motor and requested a tow. The vessel was towed back to its mooring in Beaumaris Bay. Once back in the Bay the lifeboat was asked to assist a large yacht aground opposite the pier. This vessel had gone aground opposite Beaumaris Pier approximately 1 hour before Low Water. The yacht was under cruising chute and attempted to get off sand bank with engine and using mainsail but without success. Towed into deeper water by ILB and vessel proceeded on its way.
63	21st. September \| 1:52 pm \| S/W 2 \| Caernarfon Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to a person in the water near Victoria Dock Caernarfon. The lifeboat launched within 4 minutes but the person was recovered by others on scene and the lifeboat was re-called.
62	15th September \| 1:48 pm \| S/W 4 \| Llandwyn Island Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a " Mayday " call from a yacht which had fouled her propeller on the anchor chain of an already moored 43ft. motor yacht. Once without power the two craft collided and were in danger of causing serious damage in the choppy sea conditions and building swell. A second lifeboat was tasked given the size of the two vessels and conditions on scene - strong ebb tide, strong wind and choppy seas. Whilst the lifeboat was on route the motor yacht was able to cut his anchor chain and get free of the yacht. She stood by until the lifeboat arrived. On arrival the yacht, who by now had deployed a kedge anchor was towed into shallower water but the anchors soon dug in and prevented further progress under tow. Lifeboatmen from both Beaumaris and Trearddur Bay were put aboard the casualty and used a weighted rope passed under the keel from from bow to stern to bring the chain of the fouled anchor aboard. Once aboard they were able to get the fouled anchor aboard and recover the kedge anchor. Now free the casualty was towed to Caernarfon tidal harbour and left alongside so that the owner could free the anchor when the vessel dried out at low water.
61	10th. September \| 7:30 pm \| N/W 2 \| Penmaenmawr A member of the public reported a vessel apparently in difficulties on a lee shore. Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to ascertain whether assistance was required. The lifeboat located the vessel who reported that they were waiting for sufficient tide to re-enter Conwy and did not require assistance. Beaumaris lifeboat returned to station and was about to re-house when the Coastguard reported that the casualty had now reported engine failure and that Conwy D class Lifeboat was being launched. In view of the size of the vessel and the weather conditions ( significant swell ) the lifeboat returned to the casualty and escorted it and the Conwy D class lifeboat back into Conwy. During the service the tender was lost from the casualty and was recovered by the lifeboat.
60	9th. September \| 2:30 pm \| S/W 2 \| East of Puffin Island Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to assist a sports cruiser with battery failure east of Puffin Island. The Lifeboat towed this craft with four persons aboard to a secure mooring in Beaumaris Bay.
59	3rd. September \| 5:30 pm \| N/W 2 \| Belan Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris lifeboat to take over a tow from Porthdinllaen Lifeboat. The casualty had been towed from outside Caernarfon Bar to Fort Belan. Beaumaris completed the to to Port Dinorwic.
58	27th. August \| 7:40 pm \| N/W 1 \| Menai Bridge While the lifeboat was out on exercise Holyhead Coastguard tasked them to a missing person who had stated that they intended to commit suicide from the Menai Bridge. The lifeboat conducted a search between Menai Bridge and Bangor pier. In addition Mobile Coastguards and the Rescue helicopter from RAF Valley also searched the area. This person was later apprehended by the Police and taken into custody. The lifeboat then returned to station having been on service for over two and a half hours.
57	26th August \| 4:44 pm \| N 2 \| Beaumaris Bay Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving information from a lifeboat crewmember that 3 teenagers were in the water near a capsized inflatable dinghy, The lifeboat recovered the three casualties and the dinghy and returned them to the slipway next to the lifeboat station. The inflatable they were using was totally unsuitable for tidal waters and should only be used on paddling pools. Also they were without any lifejackets or other safety gear.
56	26th. August \| 3: 28 pm \| N 2 \| Swellies Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to start a search for two divers missing in the Swellies near Menai suspension bridge. Shortly after the lifeboat arrived on scene the two divers surfaced downstream of the bridge having been swept by the strong current.
55	24th August \| 3:50 pm \| N/W 3 \| Menai Bridge Pier Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to assist the Police in searching for a missing 8 year old girl. Shortly after the lifeboat arrived in the search area the missing child was found safe and well in a garden close to the pier. The lifeboat returned to station.
54	20th August \| 5:36 pm \| N/E 3 \| Near Gazelle Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch to the assistance of 4 youths in a Dory with engine problems. The lifeboat crew were able to rectify the engine problem and they then escorted the casualty vessel to Menai Bridge Pier. The lifeboat returned to station
53	15th. August \| 6:59 pm. \| N/W 2 \| Bangor Pier Holyhead Coastguard requested launch in response to repeated 999 calls of persons in the water. The two persons in the water had come from a capsized speed boat. They were picked up by the yacht Menai 1 who also towed their capsized vessel to Menai Bridge Pier where a Dory from the nearby boat yard towed it to the slipway to be recovered. The lifeboat returned to station.
52	12th. August \| 5:10 pm \| S 2 to 3 \| Swellies " Mayday " Holyhead Coastguard requested launch in response to a Mayday call from the yacht " Manyana " The casualty was aground on Prices Point in the Swellies and taking in water. The lifeboat put two crew aboard the casualty with a portable salvage pump. The damage was not as severe as first thought and the ingress of water was soon contained. The yacht was taken in tow to Menai Bridge Pier and arrangements were made to haul it out at Dickies Boat yard the following day.
51	8th. August \| 2:30 pm \| N 2 to 3 \| Hoveringham wreck Penmon While out on service to a fishing vessel near Penmon ( service 50 ) Holyhead Coastguard asked the lifeboat whether they could assist another fishing boat with engine trouble near the Hoveringham wreck at Penmon. This vessel was also taken in tow to it's mooring at Cadnant Bridge.
50	8th. August \| 1:51 pm \| N 2 to 3 \| White Beach. Penmon Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Launch to assist an 18' fishing vessel with a seized engine off White Beach near Penmon. The casualty vessel was towed to it's mooring at Menai Bridge.
49	5th August \| 3:52 pm \| S/W 5 to 6 \| Penmaenmawr Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Launch to assist a capsized catamaran 1 mile off Penmaenmawr with 2 people sitting on the upturned vessel. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the two persons were taken aboard the Lifeboat to Penmaenmawr . The lifeboat then returned to the casualty vessel, righted it and towed it to Penmaenmawr slipway.
48	5th August \| 9:40 am \| N/E 4 \| South of. Penmon Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a call stating that there was an upturned dinghy on a sandbank south of Puffin Island. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the only thing visible on the sandbank was a piece of driftwood by the way of a tree trunk.
47	3rd August \| 2:14 pm \| S/W 5 to 6 \| Swellies During gale force conditions a large yacht was observed to be drifting in Beaumaris bay with two persons aboard. this yacht had dragged it's mooring. As the owner was aboard the yacht was escorted to Gallows Point where it was beached.
46	3rd August \| 12:15 am \| S/W 5 to 6 \| Swellies Holyhead Coastguard While the lifeboat was already out on service a report came in of persons on an Island in the Swellies. As the tide was rising there was some concern that these persons might try to swim ashore. As it happens they intended to stay on the island fishing until the tide receded.

3rd August | 11:15 am | S/W 5 to 6 | Penmaenmawr
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch in response to a 999 call from a person living above Penmaenmawr. He reported seeing a small orange inflatable dinghy with two persons aboard being blown out to sea in near gale force conditions. The persons aboard this dinghy told the lifeboat crew that they intended to go to Puffin Island. They had no engine only oars, no lifejackets or any safety equipment at all. When these two individuals were put aboard the lifeboat their dinghy was half full of water. The lifeboat returned them with their dinghy to Penmaenmawr slipway.
They owe their lives to the man who spotted them from Penmaenmawr.

1st August | 4:21 pm | S/W | Fort Belan
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch in response to a mobile phone call from the owner of a pleasure cruiser called Antaras . The vessel had a fouled propeller and needed a tow.
The Caernarfon harbour launch was assisting but running short of fuel. As it happened they were able to tow the casualty to the jetty outside Waterloo Port. The Lifeboat returned to station.

43	29th. July \| 5:44 pm \| N/W \| Swellies Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a 999 call stating that a small craft was aground on Swellie Rock it later transpired that this craft was anchored and fishing. The call was made with good intent and the Lifeboat returned to station.

42	27th. July \| 6:11 pm \| S/W \| Puffin Island Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a call from a passing yacht reporting a capsized catamaran with 4 persons in the water near Puffin Island. An accompanying rib picked up three of the casualties. The lifeboat picked up the fourth, towed the catamaran to shallow water, and removed the rig before righting the vessel. The casualty was then towed to Beaumaris slipway and recovered on to a trailer. All the casualties were then thawed out in the lifeboat station.
41	27th. July \| 4:57 pm \| S/W \| Swellies Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving 999 calls reporting persons in the water in the Swellies. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the casualties had been picked up by a passing fishing boat. Their capsized boat was towed to Menai Bridge slipway and righted. One of the casualties was suffering from shock so an ambulance was summoned to take her to hospital.
40	27th. July \| 3:40 pm \| S/W \| Menai Bridge Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch after receiving a call from the charter vessel " Island Princess " reporting a drifting dinghy with outboard and oars near B6. Shortly after launch the Lifeboat was hailed by a speedboat towing a dinghy that they had picked up. The Lifeboat took over the dinghy tow and soon found the owner who was on board his fishing vessel " Otter ". He was unaware that the dinghy had gone missing.

39	26th July \| 4:23 pm \| S/W \| Near Bangor Pier Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to a vessel with one person aboard drifting near Bangor Pier. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the vessel was taken in tow to Menai Bridge slipway where it was put on a trailer and the lifeboat returned to station.

19th July | 5:15am | S/W 3 | Britannia Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris lifeboat launch after receiving a telephone call from North Wales Police concerning a gentleman who had parked his car between the two bridges on Anglesey leaving a note threatening suicide. The lifeboat conducted a search between the bridges towards Port Dinorwic. Shortly afterwards this person was seized by Mobile Coastguards on the parapet of Britannia Bridge. The Lifeboat returned to Station.

16th. July | 7:16 pm | S 4 | Menai Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard asked for the Lifeboat to be diverted from their exercise after a request from the Police who had been informed of a possible suicide attempt on the bridge.
The informer was apprehended near the bridge. The Lifeboat then continued with their exercise.

15th. July | 12:20 pm | S/W 3 | Swellies
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris launch after receiving a call from a passing yacht stating that the yacht " Runaway " was being carried through the Swellies trailing a mooring with two people aboard. The owner and his crew were unable to recover the mooring.
The lifeboat crew boarded the casualty, recovered the remains of the mooring and secured the yacht to a neighbouring mooring at Pwllfanog

9th. July | 3:48 pm | S/W 6 | Caernarfon
Holyhead Coastguard requested lifeboat assistance after receiving several 999 calls stating that a vessel was aground off Caernarfon and taking in water. When the lifeboat reached the casualties position the boat had re-floated on the rising tide and the owner had bailed out most of the water that had been shipped. No further assistance was needed and the Lifeboat returned to station.

7th. July | 6:42 pm | S/W 4 | Port Dinorwic
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to assist a 34' fin keel yacht opposite the Marina entrance at Port Dinorwic. It proved impossible to re-float this vessel so after deploying the anchor he was left to re-float on the early morning tide. The owner who was sailing single handed was instructed to call for assistance if he thought it necessary and the lifeboat returned to station.

Assembly only. Thursday 5th. July.
Large Dory in Beaumaris bay with engine failure managed to restart engine. Lifeboat cancelled.

1st. July | 3:50 am | S 2 | Menai Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a call from the Police who had been alerted to the bridge area concerning a female with suicidal tendencies. The lifeboat conducted a shoreline search of both banks in the Swellies. Afterwards the Police had a further call from the woman's partner and the incident was downgraded. The lifeboat returned to station.

24th. June | 2:50 pm | W 2 | Off Plas Newydd.
Holyhead Coastguard requested that the Lifeboat after completing a service in the Swellies proceed to another 40' Yacht with 5 people aboard aground off the Old Faenol boat house opposite Plas Newydd. The lifeboat stood by this craft until she re-floated. There was no apparent damage and the yacht resumed her passage to Whitehaven as one of the competitors in the Three Peaks race. The Lifeboat then returned to station.

24th. June | 1:05 pm | W 2 | Swellies
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving information that a vessel taking part in the Three peaks Race was aground on Swellie rock with the tide falling. This 41' yacht with 5 people aboard was aground for over 2 hours and was assisted by the lifeboat attaching a tow to prevent damage on re-floating. The Lifeboat was then tasked to another yacht in the same race.

15th. June | 5:48 pm | E/N/E 4 | Llanfairfechan
Holyhead Coastguard request launch after receiving a call reporting 2 people walking on the beach some way from the shore with an incoming tide. Mobile Coastguards on scene established that these people were in fact laying long lines and then returning to shore.
The call was made with good intent and the Lifeboat returned to station.

12th. June | 11:10 am | S/W 4 | B6 Buoy Menai Straits
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving information from a Motor Cruiser saying that they had seen a kite and board near B6 buoy. The lifeboat was requested to conduct a search and recover the kite and board.
Shortly after launch a group of children came into the lifeboat station saying that they had lost a rig near Beaumaris Pier earlier. They identified the recovered board and kite as theirs.

10th. June | 1:55 pm | N/E 2 | Caernarfon
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a mobile phone call from the owner of a Bayliner Trophy with 2 adults and two children aboard requesting assistance.
The craft had suffered engine failure off Caernarfon. When the lifeboat arrived on scene a crewman was put aboard and the casualty was towed back to Menai Bridge slipway where the crew helped to put the Motor Cruiser on the trailer.

7th. June | 2:03 pm | N 4 | Conwy Bay
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch in response to an emergency call from the crewman of a small yacht stating that the owner had collapsed on the foredeck and was unconscious. The crewman of this yacht, although inexperienced, handled the situation well in difficult circumstances.
The rescue helicopter from RAF Valley was also tasked to the incident.
Two lifeboat crewmen boarded the casualty vessel and assisted the helicopter crewman to winch the casualty to the helicopter and transfer him to hospital. Unfortunately the casualty had suffered a heart attack and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The lifeboat, with two crewmen aboard the yacht, escorted the casualty vessel back to it's berth in Conwy.

6th June | 7:37 pm | N/E 3 | B6 buoy.
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris launch to assist a small fishing boat who had reported that they had engine failure in the Menai Straits near to B6 buoy with a young child aboard suffering from the cold. The casualty and it's crew were towed back to Beaumaris slipway from where they had launched earlier in the day.

----	6th. June \| 2:40 pm \| N/E 2 to 3 \| Menai Bridge A drifting upturned dinghy belonging to a moored yacht was recovered by the R.A.Y.C. Dory prior to the Lifeboat launch.

22	27th. May \| 1:17 pm \| N/E 6 \| Menai Bridge Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch after receiving a " Pan Pan " call from a diver reporting his dive buddy overdue during a dive in the Swellies underneath Menai Bridge. Just as the lifeboat reached the scene the missing diver surfaced after becoming separated from his partner.
21	25th. May \| 7:22 pm \| W 2 \| Port Dinorwic Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboats assistance with a Police enquiry at Port Dinorwic concerning a large motor cruiser. Shortly after launch the matter was resolved so the lifeboat returned to station.
20	23rd May \| 5:20 pm \| S/W 4 \| Beaumaris Bay Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a request from the Police asking for assistance to search the shoreline for a missing elderly gentleman. The casualty was eventually found in the Beaumaris area and the lifeboat was released.

21st May | 10:53 pm | N 3 | East Puffin Island
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a 999 call from a member of the public reporting flashing lights 2 miles east of B2 buoy. When the lifeboat arrived on scene they found two small fishing boats who had apparently switched their lights on and off when they saw the Coastguard search light. They were not in any trouble and shortly after they ceased fishing and landed at Beaumaris slipway where they were interviewed by the Mobile Coastguard.

11th. May | 7:03 pm | S/W 3 | Menai Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to investigate a report by the yacht " Caravelle " of a drifting Dory. The yachts owner stated that the Dory had a 40 hp Mariner engine, 1 oar and the painter had a bowline tied in the end.
The Coastguard was concerned that someone might have fallen out of this Dory but later the owner was traced and it was established that it had broken adrift from Deganwy Marina.
After recovering the Dory and making is fast at Menai Bridge Pier the Lifeboat returned to station.

7th. May | 2:35 pm | S/W 6 | Port Dinorwic
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch in response to a 999 call from the owner of a 20' Speedboat with engine failure off Port Dinorwic requesting assistance. When the Lifeboat arrived on scene they took the two male crewmen aboard the Lifeboat and towed the speedboat back to their Marina Berth . The Lifeboat then returned to station.

2nd May | 12:17 pm | N/E 4 | Beaumaris Bay
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris launch to assist the Motor Cruiser " Spindrift " who had his propellers fouled. The crew were unable to clear both propellers so the vessel was towed to a mooring to await lift out. The owner was concerned that he might have damaged his stern gear.
The casualty had picked up a string of crab pots in an area marked as suitable of anchoring.

1st May | 4:16 pm | E 3 | Near Cadnant Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to investigate a report of a person in the water near the moorings off Cadnant Bridge. The casualty had fallen into the water while boarding his yacht.
When the lifeboat arrived on scene the casualty had managed to re-board his yacht and was taken by the lifeboat to Menai Bridge pier where he had left his car.

28th April | 4:05 pm | N/E 2 to 3 | South of Puffin Island
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to assist a 25' yacht with 3 persons aboard asking for assistance after going aground . This vessel was on passage from Conwy to Trearddur Bay.
When the lifeboat arrived on scene they found the yacht aground but were able to re-float her and tow them to a safe mooring in Beaumaris Bay.

27th. April | 2:33 pm | N/E 4 | Menai Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris launch to assist a jet skier who had fallen from his craft and appeared to be having difficulty swimming. He had been in the water without a wet suit for 15 minutes when picked up by a mooring boat. He was apparently suffering hypothermia. This boat also recovered the jet ski. The casualty was landed at Menai Bridge slipway where the ambulance crew were waiting. After seeing that the incident had been dealt with by mobile coastguards and the ambulance the lifeboat returned to station.

21st. April | 2:00 pm | S/W 5 | Swellies
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a 999 call stating that a 16ft. cabin cruiser with 4 people aboard was experiencing engine trouble in the Swellies near the Platters rocks.
When the Lifeboat arrived on scene the vessel was taken in tow to Menai Bridge slipway.

13th. April | 1:57 pm | S/W 1 | Penmon Lighthouse
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch to investigate a report of a 45ft. Motor Cruiser aground near Penmon Lighthouse. When the Lifeboat arrived on scene they found the vessel aground on a sandbank. The Lifeboat crew deployed the vessels anchor and checked that there was no damage. The vessel re-floated shortly afterwards and proceeded on it's passage to Conwy Marina.

8th. April | 2:59 pm | N/E 2 | Off Glyn Garth Flats.
At 3pm while on exercise with the Mussel Boat " Mare Greta " and Rescue Sea king Helicopter 122 from RAF Valley Beaumaris Lifeboat was called to assist a large drifting Motor Vessel " Link ".
The Lifeboat was assisted by Dive Boat " Endeavour " to tow this vessel and secure it to the Admiralty mooring near Menai Bridge. The casualty which had been anchored off Glyn Garth flats was dragging it's anchor. The Lifeboat then returned to station.

1st. April | 5:25 pm | N/E 4 to 5 | South of Puffin Island.
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to assist a large Motor Cruiser with two persons aboard which was experiencing difficulties with the weather, tidal conditions and the lack of local knowledge. Crew member Leighton Jones was put aboard the casualty and the vessel escorted by the lifeboat was taken to a secure mooring off the Gazelle Hotel .
The owners intentions were to return to his berth in Conway Marina at high tide the following day.

27th. March | 2:35 pm | N 2 | Menai Bridge
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch after receiving a 999 call from a member of the public stating that a person was threatening to jump from the Menai Suspension Bridge.
Shortly after launch the Police apprehended this person and the lifeboat was recalled.

19th. March | 11:53 am | N/W 4 | Penrhyn Bay
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a 999 call reporting two teenagers believed to be in difficulty in a dinghy off Dickies Boatyard Bangor.This call was confirmed by an off duty policeman. A thorough search was made by the lifeboat and mobile Coastguards of the Hirael Bay area and although a dinghy was found ashore near Dickies no children were seen.
Holyhead Coastguard released the lifeboat and the search was called off.

18th. March | 1:53 pm | W 4 | Caernarfon
Holyhead Coastguard requested Beaumaris launch after receiving a request for assistance from the Police who were looking for an adult male reported to be threatening suicide near Victoria Dock in Caernarfon. Shortly after launch this person was apprehended by the Police.

18th. February | 4:20 pm | N/E 1 | Dinas Dinlle
Holyhead Coastguard requested launch after receiving a 999 call from a small motor cruiser with two people aboard and unsure of their position. This vessel had problems after hitting a sand bank off Dinas Dinlle. The lifeboat towed this craft back into the Menai Straits to Fort Belan where he had launched. The Lifeboat returned to station.

15th. February | 11:50 am | S 10 | Northern end Menai Straits
In response to a 999 call the Lifeboat which was out on exercise went to investigate a yacht reported as possibly in difficulties because of the severe weather conditions.
When the lifeboat arrived on scene it was found that this was a sail training vessel from Conwy and everything on board was ok. The Lifeboat continued with their exercise.

7th. February | 4: 25 pm | E 2 | Bangor Pier
Police requested Beaumaris Lifeboat launch to assist in a search for a woman with suicidal tendencies reported missing in the Bangor Pier area. Shortly after the lifeboat arrived on scene the casualty was found by the Police on the beach enjoying a cigarette.

3rd February | 5:15 pm | N/E 1 | Fryars Bay
Holyhead Coastguard request launch to assist a 14' dinghy after he had been observed for some time trying to start his engine without success. Shortly after launch the casualty managed to start his engine and he was escorted by the lifeboat to Gallows Point.

1	3rd January \| 5:06 pm \| S/W 9 \| Menai Bridge Holyhead Coastguard requested launch to a male person threatening suicide on Menai Bridge. Beaumaris Lifeboat stood by until the Police were able to take this person into custody. The Lifeboat returned to station.
